Far Cry (Andy and Kevin)
Kevin Walford is an established singer and songwriter. Originally hailing from
Liverpool, he has had previous successes with his own work both as a member of
a group and as a solo artist. Kevin now lives in Suffolk, where he continues to
write and perform his own material on the local folk circuit as well as
collaborating with several local musicians.
Andrew Bannan is a late bloomer in songwriting terms and has been actively
involved in the local Suffolk folk and live music scene for the past couple of
years. Originally from Kerry, he now calls Ipswich home and has in the past six
months been focusing on writing and performing original material.
Kevin and Andy originally collaborated on some of Kevin’s compositions about a year ago. This swiftly led to the recording of an album
of tracks. More recently Kevin and Andy have been performing their original
material as a duo at a local folk venue, for which they have been receiving
increasing popular support and recognition, in particular for their use of
close harmonies in many of their compositions.
